Baby Lasagna Set to Rock Forestland XIII: Croatia’s Eurovision Darling Returns Home

Hold onto your bucket hats, festival-goers – Baby Lasagna is back on home turf! Marko Purišić, the man who turned “Rim Tim Tagi Dim” into Croatia’s biggest Eurovision success story, is headlining Forestland XIII in Brezje, near Čakovec, on 18 and 19 July. Yes, the same guy who sold out clubs from Amsterdam to Helsinki is now ready to win over a festival crowd in the heart of Međimurje.

The 2025 Forestland headliner confessed that this summer he’s being picky with his gigs – swapping endless touring for long days in the studio working on his second album. “I love being in the studio all day more than travelling,” he admitted. And don’t worry, yes, “Rim Tim Tagi Dim” will stay on the setlist, despite Marko joking that he’s this close to dropping it.

The Eurovision star’s debut album DMNS & Mosquitoes gave us hits like Biggie Boom Boom and Hypocritical – songs he actually enjoys performing more than his viral Eurovision anthem. But Baby Lasagna promises Forestland will be special: “Expect a proper party. We know we need to win some ears over, and we’re ready for that. Whatever happens, it’ll be unforgettable – for us or for the crowd,” he laughed.

Not bad for a guy who, just a year ago, was nervously hoping anyone would show up at his European tour. Now? The same venues are selling out before he even strums a chord.

One bit of sage advice from the Croatian sensation to young artists? “Work, work, work – something’s gotta give! Oh, and watch out for vultures – there are plenty.” Spoken like a man who knows the game.

So, if you’re anywhere near Međimurje this July, get ready – Forestland XIII is about to have its loudest, laziest, and most lasagne-fuelled party yet.
