Jedward x Lidl: The ‘Jepic’ Fashion Collab We Didn’t Know We Needed

Just when you thought the middle aisle couldn’t get any more unpredictable, enter Jedward — and suddenly we’re talking haute couture in the frozen peas section.

Yes, the inimitable Irish pop twins John and Edward Grimes — better known as Jedward — have graced Lidl’s 25th anniversary campaign with their trademark energy, quiffs, and unmatched ability to turn chaos into charisma. The supermarket’s latest venture into festival-ready fashion has found its perfect frontmen.

Launching on 19 June, Lidl’s limited-edition merchandise range is as bold as it is budget-friendly. Featuring eye-catching items like branded bucket hats (€4.99), neon sliders (€3.99), Crocs-style clogs (€3.99), and festival-chic shirts (€5.99), it’s a collection designed for dancing, posing, or — dare we say — both at once.

Jedward themselves describe the collaboration as “Jepic”, and frankly, it’s hard to disagree. “We’ve grown up with Lidl,” the twins said, “and getting to front a campaign with such bold looks is absolutely Jepic! The bucket hats are perfect for disguises and fit our quiffs perfectly. The shorts are super comfy — we feel like Paul Mescal showing off our Irish legs.”

You can almost hear the sandals slapping on damp grass already.

Whether you’re prepping for a weekend in a muddy field or just want to make your trip to the bins a little more Eurovision fabulous, Lidl’s anniversary collection — and Jedward’s gleeful endorsement — have you covered.

And remember: fashion fades, but branded Lidl socks for €1.49 are forever.
