Meeting Olly, the Sanremo winner, had been Aurora Angeli’s dream for as long as she could remember. The 19-year-old’s life took an unexpected turn after a horrific car accident last August, where she tragically lost her boyfriend and was severely injured. Thanks to the unwavering determination of her mother and friends, and the support of the event organisers, Aurora’s dream was finally realised when she met Olly before his performance at the RDS Summer Festival in Rimini. A moment of pure emotion followed, with a heartfelt hug shared between the two.
Aurora, overwhelmed with gratitude, couldn’t contain her feelings and took to social media to share her story, posting photos and videos of the emotional encounter.

In a post dedicated to the artist, Aurora expressed the depth of her gratitude:
«I don’t know if I’ll ever find the right words to explain how much you’ve meant to me… but I want to try, because you deserve it,» she began. «You probably don’t know this, but during the darkest moment of my life, when everything seemed to collapse around me and I struggled to even breathe, your voice, your example, your strength, lit up a space within me where I only saw darkness. You made me feel less alone. You made me believe there was still hope somehow.»
