KAJ Baby Boom! Two Members of Finland’s Viral Eurovision Trio Announce They’re Expecting

Finland’s favourite Swedish-speaking comedy trio KAJ is absolutely thriving, and honestly, we love to see it. Fresh off their explosive Eurovision glow-up thanks to “Bada Bada Bastu”, the group has now entered what can only be described as a full-blown baby boom.
The first wave of congratulations hit during Finland’s Independence Day reception on 6 December, where Kevin Holmström revealed to Ilta-Sanomat that he and his wife Lina are expecting their first child. A joyous moment… and the perfect soft-launch in front of the entire nation.
But Finland wasn’t done with the plot twists.
Barely a week later, Axel Åhman dropped his own megabomb on Instagram: he and his partner Louise are also expecting their first baby. And here’s the kicker — their little one was already at the Independence Day reception.
Well… sort of.
“We actually brought an uninvited guest to the Castle… ready to make an entrance in summer 2026,” the couple joked, sharing photos from the reception paired with what looked like ultrasound images sneaked into the glamorous evening. Honestly, iconic behaviour.
All three members of KAJ were invited to the Presidential Palace this year by President Alexander Stubb — a testament to just how massive their popularity has become after Eurovision turned them into global darlings.
And yes, let’s talk about that meteoric rise.
KAJ represented Sweden (yes, Sweden — long story…) at Eurovision 2025 with their sauna-themed feel-good anthem “Bada Bada Bastu”, a song that bubbled up from pure chaos to viral supremacy. Their performance finished in 4th place, securing them eternal eurofan affection and a lifetime supply of steam-room memes.
Founded in 2009, the beloved trio — Kevin Holmström, Axel Åhman and lead vocalist Jakob Norrgård — has officially transitioned from Eurovision sensations to expectant parents. Two out of three, at least. Jakob… honey … blink twice if you’re next.
If Eurovision 2025 was their international breakthrough, 2026 is shaping up to be their domestic baby takeover.
Finland, grab your saunas. KAJ is multiplying.
