Joker Out Are Back: New Serbian-Language Hit, a Hotly-Anticipated Album and a Mini Balkan Tour

Slovenia’s finest rock export, Joker Out, are back to claim their crown as the Balkan darlings of guitar pop. And no, they’re not slowing down – quite the opposite. With a brand-new single already smashing streaming numbers and a fresh album set to drop on 15 November, the boys are about to turn this autumn into a proper Balkan singalong.
Their latest track, «Bluza», is a love-themed tune with Serbian lyrics – a clever move that’s got fans swooning across borders. According to the band’s Instagram, it clocked up 150,000 plays in just three days. Not bad for a bunch of Slovenian lads who just a few years ago were the “new kids” on the scene.
But that’s just the prelude. The third studio album is coming mid-November, and Joker Out will premiere it live with a bang: Ljubljana’s legendary Cvetličarna on 22 November. And they’re not stopping there. The band will take their new material straight to two other capitals of the former Yugoslavia – Belgrade and Zagreb – proving that their fanbase is as regional as it gets.
Will this new album push Joker Out from “regional sweethearts” to full-blown continental stars? Given their track record, you wouldn’t bet against them. And honestly, if you’ve not heard «Bluza» yet, give it a spin – it’s only a matter of time before you’re humming it in the shower.
