Junior Eurovision 2025: France takes the title as Tbilisi delivers a fairytale final

The wait is over. Junior Eurovision 2025 has crowned its winner after a colourful, emotional and ambitious final in Tbilisi, Georgia. The 23rd edition of the contest brought together 18 countries at the Gymnastics Palace, all fighting for the Junior Eurovision title in a night packed with imagination and big performances.

Hosted by David Aladashvili and Liza Tsiklauri, the show opened with a fairytale-inspired opening act featuring last year’s winner Andria, setting the tone for an edition where staging and storytelling played a central role. One by one, the young performers took to the stage, confirming once again that Junior Eurovision has grown into a fully-fledged show in its own right.

The performances everyone talked about

Among the most discussed entries were Azerbaijan with the ultra-catchy “Miau Miau”Croatia’s wintery ballad “Snovi”San Marino’s unexpected country-flavoured song, and Armenia, whose emotional ballad came with staging inspired by The Little Prince.

Poland stood out thanks to a powerful ballad enhanced by projections on the singer’s dress, while host country Georgia went big with an epic home performance. France, however, quickly emerged as a frontrunner with a dramatic and polished entry that felt like a winning package from the start.

The votes decide the winner

After an interval act featuring Bzikebi (winners of 2008), Candy (winners of 2011) and Andria, the moment of truth finally arrived.

With 248 points (152 from the juries and 96 from the online vote), Lou Deleuze secured France’s fourth victory at Junior Eurovision with “Ce Monde”. A strong and convincing result that once again confirms France’s excellent form in the contest.
