Helena Paparizou hits pause after exhaustion as The Voice rumours are shut down

A few hectic days in the Greek eurofan bubble, but let’s clear the air: Helena Paparizou did not faint on the set of The Voice.
Despite early reports flying around, people close to the singer have been quick to shut that story down. Sunday’s rehearsal went ahead as planned, everyone wrapped up, and it was only later — once Paparizou was back home — that she began feeling unwell.
According to Super Katerina on Alpha, Helena is currently in hospital for routine checks and is expected to be discharged very soon, possibly within the next day or two. Doctors are keeping an eye on things, but there’s no indication of anything serious.
SKAI, the broadcaster behind The Voice, also stepped in to cool things down. No on-set drama, no collapse, no emergency interruption. Just pain that didn’t ease and a sensible decision to go to hospital.
For now, Paparizou has cancelled her upcoming appearances and is taking proper time to rest. On The Voice, her chair will be covered temporarily by Kostis Maraveyas, while Peggy Zina stepped in for her at Peristeri’s Christmas tree lighting event earlier this week.
The early word? Exhaustion. Too many commitments, too little downtime — something most artists (and eurofans during national final season) know all too well.
No panic, no mystery. Just Helena doing the sensible thing and pressing pause.
