Israel Withdraws from Junior Eurovision 2024
The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation (Kan) has confirmed that Israel will not participate in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024. In a brief statement, Kan’s press department announced that the country will not take part in this year’s festival, without specifying the reasons behind this decision.

Israel debuted in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2012 and has participated in three editions (2012, 2016, and 2018). Its best result came in its debut year when the group Kids.il reached eighth place with the song «Let the Music Win.»

The public relations office of the Romanian Television Society (TVR) has announced that Romania will not participate in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024. This confirmation follows the trend of absences in previous years.
