Poland Pulls a Junior Eurovision Plot Twist: Marianna Kłos to Represent the Country in Tbilisi

Just a fortnight after the Eurovision 2024 confetti settled, it’s already time to switch gears and dive into the world of glitter, precocious talent and suspiciously professional children: yes, we’re talking about Junior Eurovision 2025, which this year will be held in the charming chaos of Tbilisi, Georgia.
Why Georgia? Because young Andria Putkaradze captured hearts (and votes) last year in Madrid with his heartfelt performance of «To My Mom». Tissues sold out. Even your dad wept.
But back to the present. Poland has now fired the starting pistol by announcing its representative. During TVP2’s breakfast show Pytanie na śniadanie (literal translation: «Questions over breakfast»), the nation revealed that 12-year-old Marianna Kłos will carry the Polish flag at Junior Eurovision.
Age Before Glory
Here’s the twist: Marianna didn’t win The Voice Kids Poland. That honour went to Zofia Wójcik, who delivered a vocal masterclass and left everyone speechless—except for the calendar. Zofia turns 15 on 13 December, which is the same day as the Junior Eurovision final. Sadly, that makes her ineligible. Rules are rules, and Junior Eurovision doesn’t do exceptions. Not even on birthdays.
So in steps Marianna, the talented runner-up, who now gets a fast-track to the big stage. Her song? Still under wraps—but expect it to drop before Poland changes its mind again.
Poland Plays to Win (Again)
Poland has a rich Junior Eurovision legacy and doesn’t come to play. With Marianna in the spotlight and a mystery song still to be revealed, the country is setting the tone early—and perhaps setting the bar, too.
Get ready, Georgia. Poland’s not here to blend in.
