Meet the Hosts of Junior Eurovision 2024: Spain’s Stars Ready to Shine in Madrid!
It’s official! We finally have the hosts for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024, and I couldn’t be more excited to share the details with you. This November, as the Caja Mágica in Madrid transforms into a stage for young musical talent, three bright stars will guide us through the journey: Ruth Lorenzo, Marc Clotet, and Melani García.
A Perfect Trio of Talent
Hosting an event as magical as Junior Eurovision is no small feat, but Spain has pulled out all the stops. Ruth Lorenzo, beloved Eurovision star from 2014, takes the reins as a seasoned performer and TV host. Her powerful rendition of Dancing in the Rain still echoes in the hearts of fans, and now, ten years later, she’s back, bringing all her charisma to the stage. «This is a responsibility like no other,» Ruth shared, and I believe her when she says she’ll bring the same passion she had in Copenhagen to this role. How lucky are we?
Alongside Ruth, we have Marc Clotet, a household name in Spanish film and television, known for his roles in La Voz Dormida and Física o Química. Marc is not just an actor but a man with an entrepreneurial spirit—he even founded his own production company. It’s no wonder he’s been picked for this prestigious job, and I can already imagine him adding that special spark to the show. He’s as excited as we are, saying, “Hosting this in front of 30 million people is a dream come true!”
And last, but certainly not least, is Melani García. At just 17, Melani is already a Junior Eurovision icon. She brought Spain a third-place finish back in 2019 with her breathtaking performance of Marte. Now, she’s returning to the stage, but this time as a host. Her words are filled with enthusiasm: «I will take the stage as an artist and as a Eurofan,» she says. What a joy it will be to see her back in action, bringing her youthful energy and deep love for Eurovision.
What to Expect
With Ruth’s grace, Marc’s star power, and Melani’s infectious passion, this year’s Junior Eurovision promises to be one of the most memorable yet. Madrid will undoubtedly become the beating heart of Europe’s musical landscape, and this trio is set to lead us through an unforgettable evening of performances, joy, and plenty of surprises.
So, as we count down to November 16, let’s get ready for a show filled with the brightest young talents from across Europe, all under the guiding lights of Spain’s finest. Trust me, this is one Junior Eurovision you won’t want to miss!
Stay tuned, fellow Eurovision lovers because magic is coming to Madrid, and I’ll be here to guide you through every twist and turn. Until then, let’s keep the excitement bubbling!
