Luxembourg’s Grand Return: ESC Adventure Continues in 2025!

Luxembourg’s triumphant return to the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) in 2024 has sparked immense excitement and anticipation for the 2025 edition. As the Grand Duchy prepares to grace the Eurovision stage in Switzerland next year, the search is on for the next artist to represent the nation.

After more than three decades away, Luxembourg made a stunning comeback at the ESC in Malmö with Tali’s powerful performance of «Fighter,» securing an impressive 13th place. Building on this success, Luxembourg is now calling on talented singers and musicians to step forward and showcase their skills on the grandest stage of them all.

Calling All Talented Artists!

If you’re a passionate singer with a dream to represent Luxembourg at Eurovision, now is your chance! The application process is open until October 6, 2024. An international panel of experts will select the top candidates through auditions. These chosen few will then compete in the Luxembourg Song Contest, where the winning song will be Luxembourg’s entry at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Switzerland.

Who Can Participate?

To be eligible, artists must meet the following criteria:

• Be at least 16 years old by January 1, 2025
• Hold Luxembourgish nationality or have lived in Luxembourg for at least three consecutive years, or be significantly involved in the Luxembourgish cultural scene
• Be available from November 2024 to May 2025
• Be able to perform live on stage

For bands or groups, at least one member must meet these conditions.

Song Requirements

Your song must:

• Be no longer than 3 minutes
• Not have been released or performed publicly before September 1, 2024
• Be an original composition
• Be submitted as up to five songs per artist/group
• Be in any language
