Eurovision 2025: Grand Final Likely to be Held on May 10 in Zurich

According to reports from Swiss media, May 10 is a likely date for the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2025.

Local Swiss media has reported that the CEO of the Hallenstadion in Zurich, a potential venue for hosting the contest next May, has stated that the unofficial date for the final is May 10. The venue has reportedly been told by SRG SSR, the host broadcaster, to reserve it for 6-8 weeks from the start of April to the middle of May.

The ESC is the largest music event in the world. 180 million viewers! This would be invaluable advertising for Zurich, but also for the Hallenstadion. We were told to reserve six to eight weeks from around the beginning of April to mid-May 2025, with a possible, still unofficial date for the final on May 10th,” said Philipp Musshafen, CEO of the Hallenstadion.

Recently, the contest has been held in the middle weeks of May, and the dates of May 6, 8, and 10 would fit this trend. The only major conflicting event around those dates is a UEFA Europa League Semi-Final game taking place on May 8.

The dates of May 13, 15, and 17 would also be free of any significant conflict with other major pan-European events and would still fit the “mid-May 2025” timeframe. At this time, no official news regarding the dates from the EBU or the host broadcaster has been announced.

Eurovision fans around the world eagerly await the official confirmation. Meanwhile, anticipation is building, and Zurich is gearing up to potentially host one of the most awaited musical events of the year.

This year promises to be spectacular, and with the possible date of May 10 marked on our calendars, the countdown to Eurovision 2025 has begun!.
