Elhaida Dani Returns to Festivali i Këngës 63 as Artistic Director: A New Era for Albanian Music

Renowned Albanian singer Elhaida Dani, celebrated for her melodious voice and international acclaim, is set to take on a pivotal role in her homeland’s premier music festival, Festivali i Këngës. This year, instead of competing, Dani will serve as the artistic director, a significant position reflecting her deep roots and extensive experience in the music industry.

Elhaida Dani’s appointment as the artistic director of the 63rd Festivali i Këngës was announced by RTSH’s General Director, Alfred Peza. He highlighted the significance of Dani’s involvement, stating, «The arrival of Elhaida is great news for me, the staff, and the entire public. She will add new value to the festival, given her extraordinary career and numerous victories in music competitions.»

Bojken Lako, the director of last year’s festival, praised for producing one of RTSH’s best festivals, will be collaborating with Dani. Their combined expertise promises to elevate the festival’s prestige and artistic quality.

Her triumph at the 2014 festival led to her representing Albania at Eurovision 2015 with the hit «I’m Alive».

In 2013, Dani’s talent won international recognition when she claimed victory in «The Voice of Italy,» capturing the hearts of both Albanian and Italian audiences.
